and Deborah Forman

Cathy Fussell has been a practicing fiber artist for more than 50 years. She specializes in making art quilts and related works in fabric. Fussell’s art is held in a number of public collections.

As a native of Rhode Island (known as the “Ocean State”) the vastness of the sea has always been a prominent source of inspiration for Deborah Forman. Other influences include Euclidian geometry, architectural drawings, and traditional quilting.

CCAC will host an open house event with the artists. The event will take place partly outdoors, with light refreshments served. The event is free to attend, but guests must register in advance for the open house event only.

After gaining attention for her performances as a vocalist on Peter Gabriel's 1993–1994 Secret World tour, Paula Cole released her first album, Harbinger in 1994. Her second album, This Fire (1996), brought her worldwide acclaim, peaking at number 20 on the Billboard 200 album chart and producing two hit singles, the triple-Grammy nominated "Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?", which reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 in 1997, and "I Don't Want to Wait", which was used as the theme song of the television show Dawson's Creek. She won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1998.
