~ The CCAC Art Laboratory ~
Started in 2024, The Community Art Laboratory is an art studio that comes fully stocked for painting, sewing, fabric arts, small sculptural work, collage, gel, and linocut printing, drawing, and more. Seventy-five percent of the materials are donated from within the community. Using the space and materials are free for the public and every one of all ages are welcome, from the seasoned professional to the newly artistically curious. The space is for exploring new art forms, developing skills, teaching, and community exchange.
~ Ways to use the Laboratory ~
-
The Laboratory is open to the public of all ages:
Mondays & Thursdays: 2-5pm
Adults only hours Wednesdays: 5:30-7:30pm
Kids and family facilitated activities: the first Saturday of each month, 10:30am-12:30pm
-
Set up a private time for your arts/crafts group to use the studio. This option is for groups/ classes that are tuition-free.
-
For arts teachers/ facilitators who are looking for a space in which to hold either private or public classes, you can rent the studio. This is also a great option if you’d like to use the studio for a facilitated event such as a kids birthday party, bachelorette crafts night, etc. Rental options include facilitation for parties and events.
Contact Jeremy Eaton for more information about the Laboratory or to make reservations and/or inquiries. We’re always happy to hear your ideas about how you might want to use the studio.
The Laboratory Exists Because of Your Belief and Support!
Three ways you can help keep the laboratory open for the community:
-
We are committed to holding 1-3 tuition-free spots in all classes and workshops, so that arts experience and education are available without economic barriers. This requires financial support from those who are able to sponsor these spots.
-
Contact us about bringing in your old supplies. We will put them to good use!
