For 29 years the Sebascodegan Artists have been a gallery in the Old Orr's Island church in Harpswell. This year they are taking their gallery on a "road show", displaying their art in places throughout mid-coast Maine.

The Django Festival Allstars bring the music of the legendary Gypsy Jazz Guitarist Django Reinhardt fully into the 21st century. Their unique, high energy performances and driving, swinging style, known as “hot jazz” continues to grow in popularity throughout the world…in great part to the success of The Django Festival Allstars, who honor the traditions of this “gypsy jazz” adding their own interpretations, arrangements and original compositions with stunning virtuosity.
Pianist will be at the audition. Prepare to sing a song in the style of the show. Bring sheet music in correct key or recorded accompaniment. Expect to read from the script and to do some movement. Learn more about the auditions process and how to prepare:

This mixed media show brings applied arts and dance together to tell the story of Marie, a young girl who suffers from bipolar disorder. Marie experiences life differently, everything is louder and more colorful for her. She uses art to soothe her mind and to heal her younger self from childhood tragedies. This show is not suitable for young children as it has themes of suicide. We are partnering with the Maine Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Best known as the ‘Paul’ of Peter, Paul and Mary, Noel Paul Stookey is a much beloved American folk revival icon. Starting his career in the mid 50’s, he became involved in the blooming popularity in the late 50’s and early 60’s, of folk music in popular culture as a form of activism. His music is rife with intent. To this day, he continues to put a soulful voice to the words of a troubled time.

Their energetic concerts are laced with a Maine brand of universal humor.
